Whit's Wisdom

If you read my blog then I bet you caught on real quick that I LOVE WINE.  That being said, I have an exorbitant amount of corks floating around my kitchen.  Since I like to recycle/reuse (and don't really need to be around sharp pointy things) I used a leftover cork to put over the end of my meat thermometer! I have also used it for my apple peeler and those little corn holders.  It works great and I have quit stabbing myself every time I stick my hand in the catch-all drawer!
