Whit's Wisdom

After making out a grocery list, couponing, going to the grocery store, bringing the items home and then putting them up - I'm way too tired (or lazy) to separate my ground beef or turkey into individual baggies for freezing.  (I always buy in bulk - cheaper per pound in most instances.)

To make up for this laziness, the first time I need the ground meat for dinner, I go ahead and cook it ALL  Then I separate the already prepared meat into one pound bags and freeze.  We use it for tacos, spaghetti, pizza topping, sloppy joes, etc.  All I have to do is pull it out to defrost and heat it up.  Makes cooking dinner so much quicker and easier!
