Who Knew?

"In like a Lion, out like a Lamb" - a saying we have grown up with - speaking of the month of March's weather.  If it comes in bad (cold, wet, rainy) then we are surely to have a clear and bright April.  Some people are even known to believe that bad spirits could affect the weather adversely and are very cautious in their behaviors during March.

But did you know that this saying is actually based on astrology as apposed to meteorology?  According to this 11alive.com article:  "During the beginning of March, the constellation Leo (the Lion) is more prominent in the night sky, while at the end of March, the constellation Aries (the Ram or Lamb) is more visible."

Not to be redundant, but Who Knew??
