Spoil Your Dinner

Everyone's Mom has said that, right?  "Don't eat that....you'll spoil your dinner!"  Well, forget everything you've been told....eat something BEFORE dinner.  A handful of baby carrots while you are cooking dinner, a leafy green salad or broth based soup before the main course, a Laughing Cow cheese wedge with some celery.  Or even just a glass of water before dinner.  It is a good thing to fill up that hungry belly with something low calorie before you begin your main course.  The fuller you get on the good stuff, the less BAD stuff you will consume.
 
This is a wonderful trick to use when you are dining out or going to a party.  Fill up a bit before you get there, it will save you in the long run.

...and don't tell your Mom I said to ignore her...I get in trouble enough with my Own Mom!
